I don’t write much on LiveJournal anymore. I used to be on here a lot, but my life took on so many variations, strange turns and detours.

I was foreclosed on and finally evicted in 2017 after 9 years of waiting. I ended up in Virginia Beach, first at a friend’s house, then with my New Jersey roommate in a house down here in the “south”.

I just want to do nothing.

So last night I fainted. Literally, only for a second or so, but long enough to hit the ground. My heart pumps at 26% and I’m still getting by. This as good as it gets. I’ll let you know if it improves.

Everything is temporary. Nothing has meaning beyond yesterday.

There’s a fog out over the ocean. I went down to the oceanfront tonight. I couldn’t get near my usual spot, so instead I went to Rudee Inlet. Off in the distance I hear salsa music, muffled but pretty. The water is calm, lapping at the shore. There are a couple small boats off shore. It’s very peaceful here.

There are moments of overwhelming depression.

Today I dreamed of doing laundry. Literally.

It seems like people have no sense of humor. I know humor is subjective, and what I find funny isn’t always the same thing others find funny, but lately I’m seeing that I see humor in every situation, even if I point it out most people don’t see it. People are taking everything too serious.
