My poster presentation to the judges went well.  I should have included the sequence alignment of APETALA 3 genes I used to design my primers.  My only disappoint was more people didn't stop to chat with me about my research.  I was expecting professors from the department who I knew to stop by and see what I've been up to in the molecular biology

If you like fantasy books, Ian Irvine's first quartet is worth reading - it's called "The View from the Mirror" with the first book called "Shadow on the Glass" :o)

I haven't read fantasy since middle school.

What are the plots like?

I have to admit that the plots become a bit predictable when you go beyond his first quartet - but the first quartet is worth a read. To tell you the plot would be giving it away ;o)
