43. Females aren't as sensitive to cold weather. And, ironically, we also stay cooler in the summer.

We have an extra layer of fat. It's just under the skin, and thin, but it gives us seven more pounds of fat than males have. Dr. Joyce Brothers calls it an "invisible fur coat" for us in the winter. The extra fat layer also insulates us agains tthe heat of summer. Our relative summer comfort can also be credited to the fact that our sweat glands are much more evenly distributed over our bodies than men's are, which allows us to cool off faster.

yeah right this layer of fat helps me [I just had "layer of fate", and thought it was funny]. I am ALWAYS colder than Justin, and in fact I tend to get colder than most males I know. Everyone tells me I am imagining things when I complain about being cold :P.

And I love knowing that we get an extra 7 pounds of fat. thanks genes!

ps: I definitely sweated more than the guy who worked at the summer job. I think that it's wrong, since I was never actually cooler than anyone else, I was one of the hotter people!

what the hell?
*42.BONUS: NOT TRUE! I GET THE HICCUPS CONSTANTLY! More than anyone else on this floor; I probably combine all the times the males on the floor hiccup into my hiccups.

* That fewer females get acne is so totally unfounded! I get lots rgiht around my period!

* Though I'll admit females CAN be more flexible that males, they can't be if they don't stretch. And much of the flexibility comes from dancing, and more females dance than males, so I think that is somewhat biased there

* I walk very fast .. guess it's because I'm female :P

* who cares if only females can have a baby? They're also the individuals burdened with a creature growing inside them, acting as a parasite (term from my NATS) to the female body. While some people look forward to pregnancy, including yourself, I don't particularly intend to get pregnant. I would much rather adopt a child instead of have one come out of me!

Females get the hiccups only one-quarter as often as males do.

No one knows why this is so, nor does anybody know why we get hiccups in the first place, since they serve no useful purpose. They don't protect the windpipe from inhaling food like the gag reflex does. They don't clear the respiratory tract like a sneeze does. They're just annoying, embarrassing, and sometimes even painful.

Fewer females than males get acne.It's because males have more testosterone, the hormone that stimulates the sebaceous gland to produce more of the oil that clogs pores and leads to pimples ( ... )

hahaha, I don't know if being able to give birth is really a bonus, from what I've heard it's none too pleasant! The kid's worth it, but I am definately not looking forward to the birth part.
