-Eirin had a certain... affinity for the spirits of her patients. It was an important skill to have in her line of work. So of course she couldn't shake off that deep and driving feeling that something was very wrong. And her thought, firstmost, drifted to Yuuka...

When she found her, she honestly had no idea what to say. She was at a legitimate loss for words.-

[Yuuka continued to walk without stopping, without moving her eyes up from the concrete. It was hard to say whether or not Yuuka even SAW Eirin. If Eirin is listening closely, she might catch the very quiet whispering Yuuka's doing to herself...though it's so quiet it's likely not even properly audible to Yuuka.]

-Eirin, for her lack of words, did not have a lack of action. She decided to move beside the other woman, keeping step with her. There would be a time...-

[After a long moment...Yuuka seemed to finally notice that someone had joined her. She does not look up, and does not slow down, just simply continues to walk and stare at the concrete.]

Such a lovely night for a walk.

*It was a good night to take a walk. Alistair was done with some of his yard work earlier and decided to have some 'me' time, away from the family for a while. He sighs heavily, feeling the cool night air fill his lungs. Alistair stares up at the stars before he feels his shoulder bump into Yuuka.

He stumbles a bit to the side before he stops and lifts his hands.*

Oh, I'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention, day dreaming got the best of me yet again. I didn't mean to bump into you miss!

[Yuuka had simply stopped and stared at Alistair as if she were seeing another human being for the first time in her life. Her eyes seemed rather dead and lifeless, and her slight smile was completely empty of any sort of mirth.]

Daydreaming? Yes. Daydreaming. How wonderful. Daydreaming.

Heh, which is silly in itself since it's clearly night time.

*That look on Yuuka's face made him feel uneasy and he wrinkles his nose slightly and tilts his head back and to the side, looking 'down' at her.*

...Is something the matter? You look rather, oh what's the word.... vacant.

Vacant. Vacant. [Yuuka's voice seems to drop into a deadpan state as she repeats this word. her voice, however, still carries a strange canter in between chipper and panicked.]

No, that is not it. But what would you know of it? Do you know? I would appreciate it if you told me, then.

[He recognizes the woman as one of the people who'd stopped for a chat while he'd been dragging the couch back to his house. He's not really one to lend a helping hand, but boredom and curiosity get the better of him, so he casually drift her way.]

[Yuuka never stopped or even bothered to look at Joshua, just simply continued on her way as she spoke...as if completely disinterested. Her voice sounds completely devoid of any sort of emotion at all.]

And you know something of it? Perhaps you can enlighten me.

[He raises an eyebrow but falls into step with her, clearly not bothered by her disinterest. It's not like he isn't used to talking at people who don't want to talk back.]

Well, you seemed a lot more cheerful the last time I saw you - does that count? Or were you simply pretending?

[Yuuka simply chuckles a bit.]

[Even though Koishi has explored all of Mayfield by now, she still spends most of the day and night just wandering. She pauses, though, when she notices Yuuka walking down the street. Her curiosity gets the better of her, so she approaches!]

[Yuuka has not looked up from the concrete, she's simply continuing to wander while she just barely audibly whispers to herself. It's not loud enough to understand what she's saying...but it almost sounds as if it's some sort of chant.]

[... Huh, strange. Koishi's not gunna give up so quickly, so she walks beside Yuuka, leaning forward slightly and waving a hand in front of the flower youkai's face.]

Hello~? What's wrong?

[Yuuka immediately stops when Koishi waves her hand in front of Yuuka's face, and snatches it by the wrist. She stares at the hand for a long moment before she lets it go.]

[Yuuka stops and simply stares at the newcomer, her red eyes looking quite empty.]

I am...[It seems as if she was going to say more...but instead simply trailed off. She almost seems confused.]
