What's your source on the Zoroaster narrative?

Either you're not familiar with the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus, or you didn't actually read the link you've given, but And yet there is another version that claims that the assassin murdered someone else by mistake, and Zarathushtra ascended to the skies (much like the resurrection of Jesus). is not remotely like the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Your link about the virgin birth actually says nothing of a virgin birth, either, and certainly is nothing at all like the Gospel account of Jesus' conception.

You might want to read your sources a bit more closely...

The "virgin" portion of that is my mistake, I misread it to say that she happened to then be five months pregnant without cause, but there isn't necessarily any indication of a virgin birth in that account.

You might take a look at this though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miraculous_births#Zoroaster

The details of Zoroastra's birth are a bit contested, however the greater point was the various similarities, and this section deals with a slew of miraculous birth stories in a variety of religions.

Additionally, I was not trying to say that this or that mythology is identical to that of Jesus's life/Christianity, but that it bears a reasonable resemblance to it. The question is why are there these common themes?

there is no coincidences in their birth, they are intentionally "decided" upon in order to help covert ppl to the "new" religion from the old, "heathen" religion.

Are you saying that the story of Jesus's birth is intentionally modeled after that of "pagan" avatars/deities in order to convert those pagans to Christianity?

Yes. The details surrounding his birth and the blatant similarities between the births of other deities makes it pretty clear to me that they are modelled after those that came before. Horus specifically comes to mind.

The Christians formulated their entire mythic structure in order to convert a population they had only minimal overlap with? Sounds like a dreadfully inefficient plan.

Setting aside of course that the attributions in the OP happen not to be true.
