Hope
Was asked to take some images of a dog that is terminal and has very little time left. Intended to do the shoot outside and then it started raining. Raw, raw emotion. Lots of tears from the pet parent. Absolutely heartbreaking. Won't share the rest, but isn't she beautiful? She stayed in her mom's lap a good bit of the time.

Greenhouse Frog
While in the greenhouse this morning, the girls start calling me. By the sound of their voices, I knew a critter had to be involved. Thai Chicken Soup
I'm completely over this winter weather. We got a dusting of snow last night along with sleet. Told D that Florida seemed like a good place to relocate. Tonight's dinner is a Thai-inspired chicken soup. It was suggested to add some lemongrass, galangal, dried red Thai chilies, or Kaffir lime leaves in. Potato and Leek Soup
Not the most appetizing looking soup, but very yummy. Even D had two servings! Was dinner last night with a nicer salad. Be sure to clean leeks thoroughly. It's a personal preference, but we use the entire leek, dark green and all. Heavy cream can be substituted for a more luxurious soup.

Provolone Sausage Grinders
We really liked these. Ted, they reminded me somehow of you. Darryl thought they'd be perfect to make if we had folks over...informal, hearty. Perfect for football watching.
