Reality just close-fisted hit me in the face. :/ I had Lance for an entire week and now he's gone to work and it makes me sad. This week is gonna kinda suck too because I work the whole damn thing. Short rant
I got a little frustrated at work today due to the laziness and lack of compassion I was seeing in my coworkers. I've been doing the tech thing for a long time, and I've also worked on the ambulance... I understand that seeing the same patient can be irritating or that sometimes you just want to sit. Friends.
It's gotten really hard to look back on my old friends and how they're doing. I'm happy everyone is doing well, whether or not they've wronged me in the past. But the fact that it's hard to see that they're moving on WITHOUT ME is what's telling me it's time to get out more. It's time to get a new group of friends and move on. I normally don't make new year resolutions because I don't believe it's a good idea to give myself more opportunities to let myself down. However, I HAVE to change some things this year. I've already gotten a great start and I know I can do it.

Project Be Less Fat in Motion
Well, i've been trying to lose weight. The gym thing didn't work out because our lives are too busy and we are both way too self-conscious. So, that's $50 a month in our pockets. I bought TurboJam for us. We can work out at home and we don't judge each other so it's more comfortable. Plus there is a shower here ( Read more... )
