So I had a pretty good 4th of July with the exception of a seizure I had while visiting family. I was alone when it happened while I was getting gas, thankfully I wasn't driving. After resigning last week and doing some interviewing I start a contract recruiting assignment with a Market Data Research firm on 4/2. 40hrs a week no more, no less 35hr, plus it's 50yards from my front door. Needless to say, Cecil will be seeing plenty of me!

After 10 years of being in sales (B2B) and the past 7 1/2 years as a headhunter I resigned from my job yesterday. I will be working off and on as I transition my accounts over. I feel very happy about my decision (as well as family and friends). It's been a long time coming and the uncertainty of sales, the ups and downs were wearing on me ( Read more... )
