Hiding
Kyuhyun sat straight up from his position on the ground.
"Where am I?" He looked around to see Eunhyuk, Zhou Mi, and Ryeowook still knocked out on the ground, and suddenly a whole flood of color and sweets stunned his senses.
"Ohhhhh no," Kyuhyun said, dizzily trying to stand up. His secret weakness was everywhere. Oh no. Oh no.
Someone caught him as he was about to fall over, but in the end both him and the other person just collapsed on each other from his weight.
She smelled like fresh oranges.
Suddenly his senses went back to normal. "Are you okay?" he asked the girl on the ground, quickly moving to shift his weight off of her.
"Hell no, I was just trying to save my husband and he pinned me to the ground!" she said, partly swooning but also having a playful tone in her voice. She got up gracefully, flipped her black hair and punched him lightly in the shoulder, then grinned.
Kyuhyun's eyes went straight down to her legs, traveling up her lacy pink, purple, and white dress to her face. Hmmm.
"I'm Nes."
Hmmmm. Oh, wait. "I'm Kyuhyun." What was that about husband earlier?
A wail was heard from one of the two bodies on the ground. "THERE'S NO RECEPTION HERE!" Ryeowook said pitifully, waving his phone around while laying on his back.
Kyuhyun smirked at Ryeowook. "Twitter crazy."
At this sound Zhou Mi popped up from the ground in a similar fashion as to how Kyuhyun had.
"No reception?!" he frantically
tried to check his weibo, but alas, it was true.
A new girl popped out from behind a bush of lollipop shaped berries, then walked over and sat down on Eunhyuk's stomach.
"Of course there's no reception, dears. This is a different dimension from your world!"
Eunhyuk squirmed, feeling suffocated. "sjdjsksj who are you get off of me now!!" he complained.
"Oh, honey, you're awake! I'm Vanessa!" The girl sitting on Eunhyuk said, rolling off of him.
Eunhyuk glared at her. "Honey? What are you talking about?"
Vanessa laughed, covering her mouth slightly. "Grumpy when people wake you up, huh? I'm your.. Well it would be uncomfortable to say right as you meet me, but I'll say it anyway. We're fated." Eunhyuk's expression quickly changed to an interested one after he got a good look at his "fate".
Nes noticed out of the corner of her eye that Kyuhyun was drifting towards the chocolate trees as if in a trance.
"Hey! We're fated too babe! Come back!" She hooked him back towards the group with a large curved candy cane she plucked from the ground.
Ryeowook looked around. "Where are we?" He tried to take a picture of his surroundings with his phone, looked at the picture strangely, then snapped his phone closed with a sigh.
"We're in Candyland, dear." Vanessa said patiently. The two girls pulled all the guys off their feet, leading them to a nearby chocolate fountain. Kyuhyun's jaw dropped as he found out that upon closer inspection, the intricacies carved in the white marble weren't actually carved in marble, but white chocolate.
"Kyuhyun, I didn't know you were this fond of chocolate! You never eat it at home!" Ryeowook said.
Kyuhyun didn't say anything, but made an involuntary high-pitched noise as Zhou Mi poked him in the side.
"Why don't you just take a bite, babe?" Nes asked playfully. "I promise nothing will happen."
Kyuhyun looked up at her suspiciously. Did she know?
"Kyuhyun, we're fated, I know these things. You should tell your friends your little secret too; it's totally harmless anyway. I see Zhou Mi is dying to know"
Kyuhyun sat down on the edge of the chocolate fountain, conflicted. The other members clasped and unclasped their hands in anticipation.
"You guys... I've been lying to you.." he started off. "I don't eat chocolate. Not because I'm too cool for it, like I've said, but because I have allergic reactions to it that make me break out like crazy." He fell to the floor in embarrassment.
Vanessa looked at him weirdly. Eunhyuk, Zhou Mi, and Ryeowook were visibly shocked. "What! Kyuhyun! How come you never told us?!"
Nes rolled her eyes, meeting Vanessa's glance. Guys.
Kyuhyun scooped some chocolate from the chocolate fountain.
"I can't believe I'm going to trust the word of someone I just met, but I missed the taste of chocolate like nothing else."
He licked it off his hand satisfyingly. Nes couldn't restrain herself and hugged him extremely tightly. She noted the shiver she felt running through his body smugly.
"By the way, we're on a magical journey," Vanessa announced. "We should get going or we won't be on time."
"On time for what? And journey to where?" Zhou Mi asked.
"Donghae's coro-mnnnf" Nes almost said before getting tackled by Vanessa.
"Let's just say we're going to a party, okay? We'll meet up with all your buddies when we get there!" Vanessa said cheerfully.
Suddenly everyone heard a loud rumble and various crackling sounds coming from the trees. They all backed up against the fountain apprehensively.
"What was that?!" Ryeowook squeaked. Vanessa and Nes shot him angry "BE QUIET!" stares.
A huge terrifying figure that looked like a black blobby silhouette dripping with poison and unnatural chemicals slid out into the clearing.
"OHHHHH MYYY GODD!!"
Anna peeked out from behind a tree. "Looks like I'm on time," she said in a low voice, gasping slightly for breath. Luckily Cookie and Donghae had been too distracted by each other and practicing growing candy from the ground to notice her leaving.
"I could just pulverize this thing, but I think I'll wait it out to see if they can handle this beast, hah."
Chapter 4 ---> Chapter 6
