so i was right. i'm an idiot. frat parties are stupid. always will be. not to the girls who like to genuinely dance and have fun that way. but gawd. guys just go to talk and smoke and drink. the girls who don't know their limits cuz they're f-ing stupid get drunk and obnoxious. how can people be so idiotic? how can they be so stupid as to follow

Just take the outlook I do on parties, and just social gatherings in general: you're here to laugh at most of these people inside your head, and occasionally meet another person who laughs at them with you. Then again I'm entertained by most things in life, mostly because mocking people for their ridiculousness is easier than getting angry or frustrated. As for wanting to be someone else, everyone has their own issues and problems with the world, I suppose it's all in how you deal with them. You could look at the people who get shitfaced drunk, high and fuck half the people they know and go, you're so stupid how could you be like that, OR you could just be like, you're dumb, and your stupidity amuses me.

One's not really better than the other I suppose, just easier to deal with the pervasive idiocy of people when you look on it in a humorous light.

I really like that idea. I've sorta used it a couple times. I guess when people are really obnoxious or realy have no clue in this world how stupid they're acting, you're right: it's funny. In the end, just before they die, they'll think: "Shit! I did nothing worthwhile in my life." So then we'll be the last ones laughing. Too bad I didn't have you there to laugh with. Or anyone else for that matter. Now it's off to something more enjoyable: reading for class. lol. Take care.

Like ive said, ive gone to a few of those parties and they are all the same for me. The last one i went to i spent watching those girls you talk about get wasted and guys pouncing on them for their weakness. Of course, they too were wasted so that lead to some interesting conversations between them. Its not like i was able to actually get in there and stop people from drinking and being dumnb, espcially the girls. All i could really do was watch and feel the same thing that you felt about the parties. People are dumb and i will always try and help people if need be. But sometimes i jus cant.

I know exactly what you mean about wishing you were someone else so you dont have to worry about what has come to be a common concern. I do it a lot when i dont want to think of the same things all over again. That saying is very true... Ignorance is blisss. But you are still a good person for the feelings you have. At least youre not like those guys at the parties and thats always a plus.

Well... as the asshole I am, I would say fuck those people. Shit faces. lol. I'd be like, you got yourself in that mess and that is it. Suffer the consequences. Ok ok. Obviously if it was the people I knew, I would in a second stand up for them. It's like when you see a fast car go by just after you've crossed the street in a pedestrian zone. I wish they DIE for driving so fast. lol. Oh well. And to think. I missed my Stargate show. Oh well... that's what season dvd's are for. lol. and reruns.
