Has anyone picked up the latest Depeche Mode CD, "Playing the Angel"? Just wondering about opinions. I think I might pick it up tonight.

My sister just called me from the TMBG concert in Seattle. It's just not the same hearing the songs over the tele.

Yep, Halloween marks my parents anniversary. 35 years this year. Just another clue into the family dynamics. Apparently the story goes that my dad wanted to get married at 12 noon and my mom wanted 11am (or vice versa) so they compromised for 11:30. For some reason, I just totally laughed out loud thinking back to when I was an undergrad at Loyola, and I was in the computer lab (who would have guessed) and when using MS Word, the computer totally starting typing by itself, like random paragraphs and stuff. Due to the expected effects of Hurricane Rita on the LSU campus, all classes and operations at the university will be cancelled on Monday, Sept. 26. The class make-up date will be Thursday, Oct. 6.
