The water just broke!!!! We are going in to let baby Kerby FREE!!!!!

So today was a little crazy. We went in for a normal doctors appointment, and before I know it we are in the labor and delivery room and Rachel is hooked up to all kinds of crazy equipment. Went to our friend the Monley's party Friday- it was great to see so many good friends that we don't get to see often any more. Thanks everyone for the prayers over our child! We went back for an ultrasound this morning and the doctor said the cysts were gone! I guess often they disappear by the 3rd trimester and even if they don't they don't mean anything on their own for certain. We knew that likely it was nothing but it was very scary thinking about losing a child. I ( Read more... )

Happy Thanksgiving!! The time when I actually have some time to write something! I am writing mostly for prayer for our little one. We had a scare last Friday when we went to talk to the doctor about our child's ultrasound. The doctor said the ultrasound revealed choroid plexus cysts in the brain. That sounds bad eh? We had another ultrasound yesterday. I wanted to videotape it so bad. I brought in a VHS tape since the machine has a VCR as part of it. Last time I got denied though. So this time as a backup I brought a camcorder. Walked into the room, got denied again on the VHS. So I broke out the camcorder and started recording- got shut down on that too ( Read more... )

Man, Switchfoot rocked. Sometimes I get nervous watching Christian bands- because they can be just too cheesy. These guys flat out rocked. It was funny though because we were "down in the pit." I have decided that the iPod is one of the coolest things ever. I just got the new 4th generation version- sleek and 20 gigs. Ridiculous how much space that is. I so far have 700 songs on it and counting. I just love the ability at any moment to call up Califonia Love and follow it with a little Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel. Music can just ( Read more... )
