Drugs suck. Why the hell do people do drugs? People say it feels good and it's fun, but in reality all they do is ruin lives. They tear apart families and make people into idiots. And alcohol's just as bad. Alcohol is a stupid legal drug that kills. Dammit

Drugs and alchohol are big things in a lot of peoples lives and why people continue to do them when we know what it does is beyond me. I think it's because there is a personality associated with it and people look to it for attention. Or something, I don't know. For some people, like my Aunt, after you've done it for a while, you need it to feel like you can survive. Why they start, however, is a list of a thousand reasons.

I think you've been a good friend and brother by expressing your concern. If you really want to, try to take them to Set Free, over on 287. They have a drug program there that would welcome your friend, or whoever else you want to see better, with open arms.

I don;t think a full on confrontation with this person will work. I know they know how I feel, or at least slightly, because I expressed my concerns to them the other night. I appreciate your input, both you and lynda. I may have overreacted last night, but I think I may talk to them one-on-one soon. Thanks again.

James...I don't even know what to say. It's so hard when friends make decisions like that...I'm really glad you told that person how you felt.

I also wanted to tell you that I admire you...for the decisions you yourself have made.

There is so much I would like to talk to you about...maybe Meliss and you and I could hang out soon. I would like that very much.

Oh, and by the way, I don't think you overreacted. Drugs are nothing to mess with...as you know. I think talking to them about it again sometime soon would be a good idea, like you said. I would be more than willing to pray for you in this matter, if you would like. Just let me know.
