I'm currently working on a book called Caleb Elsewhere by Ken Janssens. I have the pleasuure to do the art, which is a little bit of a stretch.. already I'm experimenting with the feel of the inks, to give it a more gritty noir feel, which I feel the story has. Work today. Talk about killing a major drawing buzz with the excitement of coffee. I'm supposed to have my review today so I can get my raise, but I'm feeling kind of irritable right now; was working on a request last night, and I'm not too happy with the results so far... I gotta say, theres something to say about routine. Its something thats expected, thats is safe, that won't take me out of my comfort zone. Ever since I got a reprieve, that I can hand in my porfolio by the 31st, Ive been scrambling to find a place that will print out my work. I think I might have to deal with the fact that places that print bigger than 11 by 17 are out of my league.
