I need a break from things I have to do as a responsible grown up. This is so low on the list of things I should be doing right now (sleep is probably #1, seeing as I have to be up at 7:30 tomorrow morning), but I want to do them. They're short and they give me an excuse to focus on music.

What is a great memory you have considering 9?
I don't really have memories with him. It might be when I heard that he'd done a duet with John Mayer, and that it was on my favorite song of his. AND it was introduced by Rove. Australian perfection right there folks (with a touch of Mayer).

And there's just too many Mayer lyrics to love. It's so damn hard to choose the best, though I think I will always come back to : So what, so I've got a smile on, It's hiding the quiet superstitions in my head. :) Except it annoys me that he gets us to sing that part. Look I'm all for audience singing, but not that part. I wanna hear him sing that part.

Ahh geeze I could talk about John for hours tonight. I've been on a Mayer binge for the last two days. I just got lots of new/rare/random songs off the net of his and have enjoyed listening to them all. Have you got the one where he's attempting to cover Nsync's 'Gone'? I LOVE IT! Such a crack up. :)

The thing about John is - do you want a lyric you relate to? Or one that's witty? Or one that's thought-provoking? Or one that just sound pretty? He has them all!

Or you can see him in concert and have him *not* sing "Why Georgia" at all. That was such a shocker! That's a Mayer staple!

Hmmm, I'm not sure if I've heard his version of "Gone." Maybe I have, but it was a pretty low-quality clip?

Yeah you're exactly right. There's just a lyric for everything isn't there, and that's what makes him so good. :)

I know! I think that's weird. That's like going to a Hanson concert and them not doing, say erm not MMMBop but 'This Time Around' or 'Penny & Me' or something.

Erm the 'Gone' one wasn't too much of a low quality clip. I guess it could have been better. I tell you I've downloaded so many JM and Darren Hayes songs off Limewire this week! I'll have to burn them all for you.

Have you seen this? Is it good? Of course I can't hear it. And I kinda don't wanna see it as i'm sure it has stuff in it that I haven't watched yet.

It's actually pretty safe. I think it's only clips from season 1, but there might be a few from season 2. It's a cute video, but I think the song adds to it.

By the way, I only have 2 DVDs to burn. There are a lot of season 2 episodes that don't work ideally (although they still work, just the whole audio problem), but season 3 and 4 so far have worked perfectly! :)

Hey do you know if I could save youtube clips and play them on my computer at home? Or would they not work because they need to be uploaded?

You should be able to play them at home as long as they're in avi format (or just not in the flv format youtube uses). Zamzar is a great converting site for youtube videos. It's free and easy to use!

Can you believe that I only just realised that Emily is on Brothers & Sisters! I've seen about 3 or 4 ep's but that was way before you got me hooked on Evewood, so I didn't know who she was, just that she was really pretty. And now I just realised! :)

Did you know Brothers & Sisters was created by the same guy who created Everwood? Treat Williams did a guest stint on it for awhile, too. Greg Berlanti (the creator) said he tries to find jobs for as many of his Everwood peeps as he can!

No I didn't know that at all. I guess probably because B&S came before I got into Everwood. Aww that's really nice that he does that. :)
