where to begin.....it's been a while since i've put anything up here. let's just say i've been, um, distracted. and i ain't complaining. i've been shirking my personal responsibilities a little, and i know i need to come back to center, so to speak, so i can continue to get shit done.

i'm enjoying it quite a bit. i obtained it and Under The Pink at the same time, so i've been alternating, which is interesting. i really like "sleeps with butterflies", "ireland" and "sweet the sting".

i think it is the best sounding work she's ever done. Just the right amount of production. Still can't make sense of what she's saying tho. i hear the words, but she's far too symbolic for me. i prefer writers like Martin Gore, who says exactly what he means. i guess that is a male/female thing.

i'm not going to see her concert this year. i saw her in Dallas and Chicago a few years back, great shows both. The first was with the band, the second was acoustic. Just her and the bosendorfer.
