Hi, you're the only other person in LiveJournal who's listed as being interested in rice science. Are you studying science at Harvard? I lived in the Philippines for three years, at the International Rice Research Institute, and wrote about the scientists' work, so that laypeople could read about it.

Or perhaps you're from Rice University, Texas...

I am neither at Harvard nor in Texas. I now live in Las Vegas.

Yeah that's enough. This is Jennifer (Xiaowen) Li, in Fargo, ND. Haven't talked to you in a long time, but with Facebook and all I suddenly feel... connected to the Ames community again...sorta.

I feel like a stalker to look at people's journals without permission, especially people whom I don't know that well. Mine own journal is private, but I don't post much anyway. I could work on that...maybe :P

So yeah, it'd be cool to get back in touch! :D
