So, in about 19 hours, I should have Advent Children and a subtitle file. I'll buy the DVD when it is released, but I'm impatient to see it. I may use the G4's TV out to go hook it up to the projection TV downstairs and set up some speakers, if I get the time. It's good to hear from people who dropped off the face of the earth and find out that they're well, better even. One of the few things that has been good about this week. Tired..

Nothing like coming home from a weekend smelling like a nice wood fire. Despite initial grumblings, it was good to get out and camp a bit, and hopefully backpacking this coming weekend will be enjoyable as well. A shame the summer has gotten rather grey, it is much more enjoyable sunny, and I'd like to enjoy it as much as I can right now.. I'm fine ( Read more... )

Now my own laptop has some fried hardware, judging from the static on the screen and the problems with the screen and startup. Maybe I'm lucky and it's just the video card.. if it's the logic board, it'd be more effective to buy a new comp altogether.
