Our undecorated bathroom. The whole house need painting, it's plain white just about everywhere. We're started with the bathrooms because those are relatively small projects. I'll be posting some before and after pictures when they're done.

Not much happened today,
I worked at the flower stand and did pretty well there, especially considering that it rained off and on all day today. The stands don't usually do as well in the rain, which is understandable. People don't to stand there asking about the prices. Still, I have nothing to complain about ( Read more... ) -

We had lunch at Subway today where tomatoes are back on the menu. Most fast food restaurants in Canada had banned them because of the salmonella scare last week, but fortunately the tomatoes here weren't found to be linked to it.

No word from the thrift store,
so it seems I didn't get the job. But I'm not too disappointed, in fact it's probably just as well now that I think about it. It would have required me to work full time, which won't have left much time for any thing else. My provincial exam is going to be next month, so I'll need plenty of time to study for that and with school almost finished ( Read more... ) -
A slightly overdue entry
but a new entry nevertheless. I would have updated early, but I promised my daughter I'd watch a movie with her that we borrowed from a friend. The movie was I, Robot about a homicide detective called to the scene of an important robotic scientist's apparent suicide. The detective, however, suspects that the scientist was murdered. Things are looking up
I've been having some concerns recently, mostly financial, but they're starting to get resolved. I'm going back to work selling the flowers tomorrow, Mother's Day weekend so I should do well ( Read more... ) -
I've being wanting to update before this
but I've being some problems with my computer. I don't know if it's the computer itself or the internet, but anyway I finally have the chance now. I'm still studying for my provincial exam Thursday evening. It looks like I'm the right track. I did the bonus questions this afternoon and I got 86%. My studying's going all right
at this time I'm working on the questions in "the evil yellow book" as it's been called. I thought I'd try for an acceptable mark in the book before I worked on bonus questions on the website. They do seem harder, but it's good practice so I'm glad I started with them. Right now, my mark is about 50%. Not nearly enough, but there's only 65 ( Read more... ) -
Things are going to get busy,
just as they were in middle of February, maybe more so. It's nine days until PE (Provincial exam) time. That means it's time for me to do the bonus questions on the company website.
