No time for a proper entry (bad Cori, very bad Cori), just this quiz:

This is the last school day before the holiday
so the kids went to visit their grandparents today. They also got their second report cards. Their marks went down in some subjects and up in others, which I guess is to be expected. Anyway, they're both "progressing well toward promotion", so I have no reason to be dissatisfied ( Read more... ) -
Traffic court was this afternoon
and it went pretty much as I expected, although I did get the fine reduced by ten dollars and I have more time to pay it now. I was told I'll be getting a letter about that within the next fifteen days, but I think I know what the amount's going to be ( Read more... ) -
Still no writing progress
and I only have one chapter to go. This is not good. I had the first four written ahead of time, but I didn't realize this last one was going to be such a problem. I should have waited until it was finished completely. Oh well, live and learn ( Read more... ) -
CMEM-08 today and other new developments
It was a beautiful day, about 3 C. It went up to 9 C later in the evening, so I didn't wear my winter coat outside, just a warm sweater. Any temperature above 0 is very much appreciated this time of the year. I hope it stays like this, but I don't expect it too. Oh well, it was good while it lasted ( Read more... )
