Veteran's day
Today is veterans day, a lot of things are closed, but I will get free dinner at Applebee's today.
Some close friends want me to reopen the store, I'm considering it.

Ok, quick little update.
I've Been separated for several months, a divorce will take place.
I got a place of my own on Friday, I went to Ikea and bought new furniture. I still have a lot of set up to do. Today's goal is to finish the living room and start on the computer room.

Real update
About 2.5 years ago my dad passed away. The estate was complicated to say the least. Now it is finally settled and I can get on with my life.
I am getting a substantial settlement and I can live off it for a while. I'll be getting a new apartment soon. I am also job hunting. I'm also going to be able to have a cat at this place. I have to start ( Read more... ) -

I got some stuff done this week.
I hadn't had time to watch BSG, the past 4 weeks, even though I had the episodes downloaded. I got 3 episodes in last night, and I'm to the point where Gaeta, and Zarek have been executed.

I was procrastinating on getting a either a converter box, or a new HD TV, in the end we bought a new TV yesterday. I figured, 1, our TV is getting so old it no longer keeps a focus, 2, a converter just downgrades the picture to NTSC quality. 3 we can play x-box & play station games in HD now, and 4, it doubles as a computer monitor ( Read more... )
