Dunno how you feel about music, playlists, and games while exercising, but I'm hearing really good things about Zombies, Run from friends. Waiting (eagerly) for the Android version myself.

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun. Cost is a bit steep for an app, but I'll give it a shot!

The weight loss will become less steep as time goes on. Part of that is that you have lost the excess water. Part of it is that the calorie deficit is smaller-if at your top you needed 2200 cals/day to maintain weight and only ate 1200 then you would lose about 2lb/wk. Now that you have lost so much you may need only 1700cals/day to maintain so the 1200 is less of a deficit. (all numbers just made up, but the theory is sound)

Try to find which cardio machine works best for your heart rate. I know that on the recumbent bike I couldn't get my heart rate up high enough to matter but it was fairly easy on the treadmill.

Hey 27 pounds is good. They always talk about medical issues getting better after 5% weight loss. Keep it going!

It sounds like you are doing great! Don't feel you need to rush it.
