So, I randomly found this program that lets me watch live newschannels from around the world on my computer, and became oddly hooked on watching Al Jazeera. There was a rather frightening clip they ran yesterday that was apparently a re-run, as it's available on Youtube. They were interviewing McCain supporters outside a Palin rally in Ohio. It's ( Read more... )

*facepalm* Ohhh, I knew that would break my brain if I watched it, but I clicked anyway. D: How is it possible that some people are that ignorant? First of all, THERE IS A SEPARATION BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE. IT ARE A FACT. I KNOW IT BECAUSE OF MY LEARNINGS. (But even putting that aside, what if he was a Muslim? It is so sad to me that so many people consider that the worst thing ever.) Second of all, I just find it ridiculous how much of the McCain campaign is about dissing Obama rather than supporting their candidate (although I think that's more the people than the campaign team and the politicians themselves). No one's looking at THE ISSUES, they're just oversimplifying to the point of idiocy.

How are you, my lemurly dear? I forget, did you tell me what you're doing for Halloween?

Yeah, it's all pretty upsetting. But I suppose when all McCain is is Bush 2.0, all he really has is attacks. Only 2 more days...

And I'm doing quite lemurly well. Busy like whoa, with exciting grad school apps and all, but well nonetheless. As for the evening known as Halloween, my lassy was Sarah Palin with a gun, and I was her moosely prey. It was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. I was rather amused by you're Charley Chaplin-esque ways, by the by.

How be you, my also lemurly friend? How was your All Hallows Eve?

Classic liberal media depiction of middle America as close-minded and racist. Why not go to an Obama rally and hear the erroneous things people think about him?
These interviews are cheap attempts at polarizing people into extreme and needlessly antithetical factions when what we really have are two centrist and competent candidates who both have an impressive history of honesty, integrity and reform.
But, whatever.
Maybe they can work this into Jesus Camp II: The High School Years
