Maybe something like "They aren't available" would sound less like "Your call is less important than the stupid shit they're doing right now." Dunno, I'm not Mr. Tactful anyways.

Thats a good one.
Sometimes I switch it up and say they are on the other line or with a costomer at the moment, that way its a specific reason :)
