Powers going out of control, if you have things like that.

And it's probably too late by now, but putting joining the police force on the same level as picking up a hobby might not exactly be a good idea.

[ ooc; b-black? :O SO YOU'RE LIKE REVERSE MICHAEL JACKSON NOW, SUZAKU? ;3;; !! ]

I don't exactly have any powers... So I should be fine, right?

Ah, yeah, I realized this after. It's not what I meant, see, it's a long story. I'm used to working with the law and all, and kind of head butted with the Head of the Police force here for his failure to keeping personal feelings out of his work, and well, I guess I started seeing the force as nothing but a sort of club people here were trying to form.

I realize it's probably more than that to them, and I'll respect that as long as people are helped. I didn't mean to sound condescending or anything, but in a place like this...

[OOC: ROFL XD I was going more along the lines of ZERO BEING IN A BLACK SUIT ROFLLLL.]

changed my mind; have this character instead. princedetective August 14 2009, 17:43:19 UTC
I see no reason why we would allow someone like you onto the force, if that is your attitude.

It's as you wish, only, that's sounding more like a clique than a Police Force. It's wanting to help people that matters most.

I do not disagree. However, insulting and speaking slanderously of the force's current leader is hardly the way to win your way into our good graces; nor does it speak well of your character-which then reflects on how well you would be able to help people.

Furthermore, it is never in good taste-or, frankly, intelligent-to openly insult the leader of something you express an interest in joining. Or is rudeness and distention tolerated where you are from?

Where I came from was the law, the very Police Force, the army. I know how the system works, and what I was seeing was not professional at all, so I called him out on it. I don't care if my honesty seems rude, it's what I believe in.

Kadaj was unstable to the eye from the moment I met him, and as my duty to protect Princess Euphemia, I threatened him to back off. Minato initially let feelings in the way to protect Kadaj. Unprofessional. All we demanded was that Kadaj stay away.

The one kidnapped right now could of been anyone.

However, we all make mistakes. Minato is human after all, so lending him a hand might be a good thing.

After a chip removal, one becomes violently ill for one to two days, followed by a longer period of uncontrollable and unpredictable resurgence of the formerly suppressed ability.

I meant more than that, however, with the impression the Police Force left on me, it doesn't feel much like what it is trying to portray itself to be.

Though I only recently joined, I don't believe we're concerned with portraying ourselves as anything. My concern is keeping the people of this city as safe as possible under the circumstances.

It would be mine as well. Yet, I feel as if I am on some sort of trial all of a sudden for merely protecting those I cared for from a Rogue officer. Yes I was rude, yes perhaps threatening to him, and yes perhaps arrogant to the Leader for defending such conduct, however setting differences aside to face what is most important right now rather than bickering needlessly over the matter is what I wish to do.

There is a man kidnapped, being tortured by this Rogue officer, and whether I am accepted or not, I will take matters into my own hands in any means to help people.

I don't know anymore. I just can't sit here while people need help.
