I love my new job. Love it love it love it!!! I have always enjoyed teaching 1-1, with the challenge of interacting with someone, figuring out what they know and what they're missing and how they learn, and coming up with lessons/activities/explanations that will help them, and watching the lights turn on. Ahhh. Life is relaxed and happy again. Benjamin is still home, pending a follow-up visit to see when he can go back to work, but he seems to be just about as good as new. So the same day Ben comes home, I come down with a cold. And my wonderful husband makes me breakfast in bed two days after having surgery himself. Heh. We keep taking turns doing what needs done--I get to run the errands because of the painkillers he's on, but other than that the work at home's getting split about evenly.
