I only found out that I was right about the one title: "Come Over To My House". Turns out it was by Dr. Seuss!! (I found a "like new" copy on ebay for $895!! JESUS!) When I get up to my parents house, I hope I remember to ask them if they still have my old books. It will be a miracle if they do.
