So, yesterday was obviously one of the greatest days I've ever experienced. I actually am going to miss a few things about my old college, but mostly I'm just extremely relieved that I'm leaving it behind.

UM, I'M A COLLEGE GRADUATE NOW!!!

I'm way to pleased/relieved/HAPPY/tired to say anything other than that right now.

So, after a week in which pretty much everything I think I'm good at gets trashed in one way or another, my faith gets restored. I was walking in the hallway, and this priest who I had for Theology my freshman year stops me.

On Wednesday in the early PM, I'll be leaving for Portland Oregon for a really silly English conference. I have to read a paper about gender representations in magazine ads. *On Friday, I was ordered to WASH DIRTY DISHES at work (um, I work as a writing tutor. I don't think that position involves cleaning dirty dishes that I didn't dirty). I ended up cutting my hand. Not badly, its just that since I'm not very COR-savvy, I didn't realize just how sharp butcher knives are. Still, it sucked.

The Bad:

I got my rejection letter from NYU today. Surprisingly, I don't really care. I guess I figured no matter how much financial aid I got, it would still be horrifically expensive. It wasn't my #1 choice, and I didn't really want to deal with the politics of it. Ho-hum.
