so i am not actually dead for those of you who might have wondered.

corpse_sing has been an ex-junkie for about 30 days and nights. from 120 mg methadone and a few grams of heroin a day with some benzos on top like a cherry to nothing which was about 3 weeks of absolute hell on earth. i think i tried to walk into oncoming traffic about 15 times. ( Read more... )

Seriously. I wondered what had become of you... it's been too long.

(In case you haven't read my journal, from about November '09 onwards, my marriage has collapsed and - yes, same old song - I'm going to be excluded from travelling to the USA again, when I leave in two weeks, for between three and TEN FUCKING YEARS.

I hate love. :(

ohhhh lady friend. you were in twin towers??? that fucking sucks. i didnt know you were from LA. Glad you're out. and glad you survived your methadone kick. i can't even imagine. im kicking dope tonight and took my suboxone tooo early, so im sicker than i'd be if i hadnt taken anything. Basically i want to shoot myself!!!

yeah dope comes on fast and strong, suboxone just kind of chills for a while and makes you feel shitty for weeks. not too shitty, but bad enough to really irritate you and disable you from doing stuff you want. i came off 8 mg cold which didn't have the emotional and neurological issues that came with methadone for me. this is old so hopefully you kicked like you wanted too. :-)

May I call you, too? I'd love to catch up before I leave the USA... (I'm also gonna have over six hours to kill at LAX between my flight from JFK on United, and the Air Pacific flight to Fiji which leaves LA after nine p.m. on Saturday 20th of this month.)
