If you go back to the earlier posts, you can see that the “wall” running down the center of the building is really only a wall in appearance, not in structure. Once again, it’s been a while. After the last post, when I tried to pull in the new circuits in from the panel, we had a problem. It turns out that there was wire with bad insulation in the conduit. As soon as I put on tension pulling the new circuit, there was a nice bright flash in my face and power went out to the whole house. And yes, this ( Read more... )

Penny has been here a week now, and aside from the push to make it so she’s got room to work on Lust orders, the main focus has been to make this place feel like our home. I got home from work today and just dove in again. I tore out the rest of the benches, ripped out all the stray nails I could find, hauled everything out and then swept up and sprayed it all down with a hose. This past week I have been concentrating on the basement. I decided that the best way to handle it was to clear out “my” side first so I’ve got a place to work on Penny’s side. OK, the lease is signed, the house is empty, and I have the key. It’s ours! OK… it’s official. Penny and I have our new place, on 47th street in Oakland. It’s a nice 2 bedroom house with a full basement for Lust and for my non-flammable pervy projects.
