better on draft for sure, but I'm digging that one too. here's some other good chrimmastime ales: gouden carolus; troegs mad elf; anderson's winter solstice; allagash grand cru; corsendonk xmas; and though not specifically winter ales but great for this time of year, also weyerbacher's old heathen and the elusive but excellent doppelbock samiclaus. also, this time o' year, a goodly amount of homemade glog.
I'm pretty disappointed in Great Lakes' Christmas Ale this year. It's no longer of cough syrup consistency. It seems a tad watery and aluminumy, too. I haven't tried the SN Celebration ale though, I will have to! And twist off bottles? WEIRD~!!!!!111
