Burgerville "policy" states that if I'm going to be late or call in sick I'm required to give them an extended warning of at least 3 hours. I used to be in management so I understand the position the managers can be put in if someone bails on a shift with little notice. I lived in a small town outside of Forest Grove, then when I was old enough I moved out to Portland and lived on Burnside. It was one of the happiest times in my life.

and to answer your question, my pay is only $7.50 p/h so my overtime is only sub par. but rent is cheap so I can't complain in retrospect. :)
