fuck! i forgot about re-doing the astronomy quiz until 11:50 - due at 11:55. I'd done it once and only got 7/10. and if i'd checked biome quickly, i could've gotten 10/10!

I got my highland silk and it feels quite nice, with a definite sheen. thinking about sending back the oxblood and getting ruby instead, though. the oxblood is more of a bronze-y, warm chestnut colour, whereas the ruby is a fairly bright but not over the top christmas-y red. well, I have a bit of time to think about it, and i'll take them both ( Read more... )

tonight I made chocolate chip cookies. i've had a problem lately of my cookies being flat, so I set out to fix that. i used the famous nestle toll house recipe, and they turned out pretty good! a bit salty; less salt next time. i refrigerated the dough before baking and between batches, and they're nice and thick. a keeper ( Read more... )
