Shit bro, I was worried something happend to you. If you know what it is they put on the internet, I might be able to help you get around it. I'm usually pretty good with shutting down security or getting around things.
Kicking you out at 18?? Ya know, some parents just don't fuckin get it. They seem to think that by the time you turn 18, you'll have a great enough job to provide on your own. Have they seen the real world lately with how much prices go up? Hell, I couldn't get a place to my own, and I make about $700 a month. Thats more they most part-time/borderline full time jobs make. They seem to think that money is still how it was back in the day when they were 18.
I think we're smart enough to know how to handle our own internet security... thank you for thinking of us though.
No one was told they were being kicked out at 18... the facts are not correct here. A great enough job to provide for yourself? I think that is the whole point here... we'd love nothing more than for a job TO be secured. That's not up to us... but a bottom line of being kicked out was never expressed.
Do you really think, as intelligent and working adults, we have no clue of the real world? Puh-leeze... who exactly do you think you're referring to? We've been doing exactly that for months on end -- trying to teach about the real world and what is to be expected when that time comes. We are not stupid as you seem to think we are. It's just easy for you to blame the "old folks". Don't use us as a copout.
You might do well to remember that there are two sides to every story. So please consider that before we are tried and hung without our turn to testify.
Well, you may be able to handle your security, but it doesn't mean I can't get around it.
Judging from the post, I'm guessing your the parents or whatever else, in which case its rather pathetic you are replying in your son's journal to his friends. However, hey, whatever works. I'm not using anything as a copout as you say. You are kicking the guy out as he said. Now for what reason, I don't know, but you are or he would not have posted that. What lesson do you really think is being taught here? "Get a job and life works"? Getting a job isn't exactly easy due to the job market, finding a GOOD job to be able to support ones self is even harder. So what is really being proven here by booting someone when they turn just barely old enough to attempt to go on their own?
Its rather hard to hear "the second side" when its impossible on my end. Here, I'll just call the house and ask about it... He posted, I'm going off of what he posted, what else can I do besides support him in what I know of the situation?
