The more things change, the more they stay the same, goes the old saying. In Cougar Ridge, that can't be more true. It's been nearly two years since the disastrous incidents that left the town a bullet riddled mess, but life does move on. However, it moves on in ways that people rarely expect. Many of those who were at the center of the strangeness ( Read more... )

If I'm right, then the postcard to Josh Barty should arrive at his place today. It's a pretty simple thing, just letting him know that if I was in town, he'd have my vote.

Hey 'Wyatt'

Anyone with half a brain would vote you back in as sheriff. Debs says hi, we're fine, still not sure when we're coming back to the Ridge tho. Having a hell of a vacation - you should try it sometime. Say hi to the others.

'Doc'.

The whole Wyatt/Doc thing goes back to the William Dale incident a while back. He's a good man, hell of a lot better than those who came before him, but right now I've the new Mrs Nero on my mind and that new bikini she's bought that I can't wait to get her out of.

I blush, and turn my head just in time to see my partner looking at me with a hint of a smile on her face ( ... )

One of the best things about being the Mayor is my chair. It's got to be one of the most comfy things I've ever sat in and it suits the purpose of thinking quite precisely. Two years I've been in this office, give or take a few months, two years. In that time, people have come and gone, and there's not as many familiar people as there was when I took office ( ... )
