Sometimes. Most of the time we leave 'em alone since they don't attack anyone. [Shrug.] The ones that do get hunted a lot are just computer code. VR training and stuff like that.
A lot of the time, yeah. They're really hard to hit, and they've got this attack that they use to pump you full of needles. I've never seen anyone avoid it, either.
Trust you to have a harder time battling a Cactuar than Bahamut.
[ And oh, yeah. He remembers watching that battle, alright. But despite the bitterness behind that memory, Genesis finds himself chuckling softly, preferring to recall his own battle with the exasperating little thing instead. His tone darkens however, as he murmurs about the absence of an old friend. ]
Hey, Bahamut was a bigger target who didn't run away! Of course he'd be an easier fight.[Yeeep. Audible pout is go, until that second comment rolls in and Zack sighs.]
He's still here, he's just...Seph's just asleep and nothing I do will wake him up. [Not for lack of trying, though.]
[ Any previous trace of a tease has vanished from his voice now, in fact his whole demeanour seems to have shifted to something else. And so, he lets Zack's first reply slide, voice becoming lower in response. For those that knew him, it would be clear that something was perturbing him - and that it didn't involve Sephiroth's present condition in the slightest. ]
They are known as sleep comas. The reason why they occur remains elusive. It would probably be best to leave him be ... as disconcerting as it may seem at first. He shall awaken ... sooner or later.
[for those that knew him, it would be easy. Zack, sadly, does not know him. And while he hears the change in Genesis' tone, it's impossible for him to understand what it really means.]
Yeah, I know. He told me the day I got here. [Siiiigh.] Doesn't make waiting any easier.

Avoiding Zack's snickering, on the other hand...not so much.]
Hey, that was the first time I got you to come into the VR room. I'm not gonna forget something that important.

Yeah, but does anybody get the thing on their first try? Cactuars know how to run.

... I'd wondered why I hadn't heard from him.
