Today a coworker and I were talking about media, specifically about how he and my gf both own like 400 gazillion LP's. I own a hundred or so CD's but everything I care about is on two hard drives and backup tapes. Then we got to books. Seriously, I looked at the Kindle videos when it came out, and it looks pretty great. The price was the main catch for me, and I'm not much of a gadget person. I loved the video of dropping it though. I'm terrible on electronics (travel everywhere with them).

The price was pretty horrifying, but once I decide I want something, I get weird and obsessive until I just buy the damn thing. And hey, with this crazy overtime not stopping anytime soon, I deserve it!
No LCD. Electronic paper. Not backlit. I'm interested to see it in action.
