Dean dies. As an act of mercy, Ezekial wipes all of Sam's memory of his brother, and clears Dean's bedroom. Later, Sam is digging through the MoL archive and happens upon the photo of Mary and little Dean. "I don't...I don't know why I'm crying."

Ezekiel has always carried a bit of a torch for Castiel, and now is the perfect opportunity to act on it without consequences. Cue Samzekiel coming onto Cas while pretending to be Sam.

I really love this! Castiel's struggle felt especially real, and I love the idea of Sam jus' chilling with the dog--that was not a direction I would have taken the non-con possession-sex-prompt, but I find it plausible now.

Sam starts to draw the sigil and Dean has to come up with a lame excuse as to why they can't.
Or
Dean uses the angel banishing sigil in the heat of the moment and forgets it will affect Samzekiel too.
