congratulations to mama dre and papa josh, the first step to becoming a real family.
sometimes people say something because they need to get it out. maybe they want to tell you, but you aren't there at the time. the only thing is to tell it the people surrounding them, not meaning any harm though.

i agree, i think i kind of already made that point, but i mean every once in a while, sure it's fine, no harm is really done, if it's only the truth right? but when one's feelings toward a person are said to everyone but them repeatedly it's not a sort of, "let me get this off my chest", it's more like one just can't say it to their face.
i don't know, that's how i see it anyway

that is true, but also one one way to look at it. what if they never see you? what if the thought really bothers them? what if everytime you're mentioned or thought about the person begins to be sad, mad, or both. maybe it's not that they can't say it to your face because they are scared or unwilling to, but maybe it's because you aren't around in their life very much anymore.

i care about you a lot dre. sometimes i think about you and it breaks my heart to think of what our relationship has come to now. i miss you too, so very much. i will call you. summer school is a bitch and takes up time, BUT i will call you.
