So so lovely - I'm so pleased with the bride's gown!!! I was surprised at how verklempt I felt over the vows; it was just so heartwarming to see how the two of them beamed at each other at the altar!

Oh, and just because...what was Princess Beatrice thinking? Lady Gaga called, she wants her lobster hat back!

Looks like I'm off to a good start! I took it easy for the most part this weekend - but into Sunday afternoon I was starting to feel antsy in the creativity department. I'm looking at some pre-quilted dupioni silk for a quilted petticoat (not patient enough to quilt it myself). Obviously, it's not as authentic as silk satin, but I was thinking it might be a good starting point. I know some of you have gone this route - anyone willing to share tips or tricks?
