Staying out of trouble seems to be something I am not very good at…

However, I wasn’t personally effected by any of the really bad curses.

[That letter deal was just annoying. Reminding him of things he couldn’t forget anyway…

And he doesn’t mention the distress he felt watching others deal with these curses. ]

...I meant you don't know what might be the reason for these so called 'curses' nor what produces them.

I've been trying to discern this after having witnessed so many of the residents of this house cursed over the last few days.
