My brother and I had something like it growing up. They were named bunny. Mine was pink, his was yellow. I wish I had a picture or something so I could replicate them. I saw a pattern for this at the store and had to have it. It was kind of silly to pay for such an easy pattern, but the first one I made was among my first real projects with my sewing machine.

I actually purchased something for my niece that was very similar. Except for it was a frog. It was much, much smaller and did not have the binding.
