Today's happiness

The three things that are making me happy today:

-Pumpkin Ravioli with sage brown butter

-The scent of Casablanca Lilies filling the house

-My sweetie playing me the House of the Rising Sun on his guitar

It's too hot to grow lilies down here, so these are store-bought. But delightful nonetheless.

It's really is. Ciccio and Tony's (on 38th and 4th) serve it seasonally every year around this time. And I look forward to it all year.

Mmmm...ravioli.

You would like the pumpkin ravioli with sage butter, I think. Equally good with butternut squash ravioli, since I find them similarly flavored. And easy enough to make I believe, for people other than me, who can cook without setting something on fire.
