Today they start working on the appartment. We are having to replace the entire tile floor! Just the fact that I had to pick up all my junk and pack it away was traumatic. I've lived in the same place for over ten years! If I ever really have to move, I think I'm just leaving everthing and starting new. Like a snail.

Well, I managed to do the complete opposite of all my resolutions last year: gained weight instead of losing it; got further into debt instead of paying off my credit cards; lost contact with friends; am still single. Mum's birthday today. She's 63. After burying my two garndparents (her partents) today was definitely bittersweet. We went out to a great dinner. We (Mum, brother, me) drank way too much, or at least I did. Gave her a pair of earrings.
