Since my last entry I've enjoyed a trip up to Seattle (surprisingly, it helped me avoid heavy rain) and gone to several Sharks games, including the season finale (for the first time ever, I went to a season finale, and took Al to it). Yesterday was awesome and then kinda scary. The awesome part was going to Sharks practice and seeing the Red Wings (they used Logitech Ice after the Sharks were done). OK, I definitely should write something from NY while I'm here (and while Marc's out shopping). New York has been pretty good this time. Definitely warmer weather (40s/50s) than when I was here pre-Israel, but kinda crappy in that it's been foggy/rainy today. Just sitting here in my hotel room in Jerusalem now, going out in a few hours. Israel has been very awesome (much better than I thought - helps that it's not in the 90s or 100s here!!!!). I'm finally done with law school apps!!!! =). I sent them off (electronically) at 1:30 am today (2 hours ago). And for some reason, I'm not tired enough to sleep. Hopefully I'll get a little shuteye tonight and just sleep soundly on the flights to LA and NY tomorrow =). I'm excited to see NY and Israel. Only 4 days until I take off for a few weeks in Israel and a weekend in NY! I'm going Sunday (the 15th), coming back late on Feb. 5. I'm going to be in Israel for 2 1/2 weeks - 1 1/2 weeks as part of a birthright trip (Jan. 16-26) and a week to see family. I'm now facing job drama with respect to hours of English Language Development/ESL teaching. Apparently lots of kids have dropped out (not all were mine, thank you), and my hours (as well as other teachers' hours) got slashed. I got cut from 6 hours a week to 2. I got my LSAT score on Friday, a few days earlier than expected. I got 156 - 3 points higher than last time (and I think 11 percentile better than how I did last time).
