I ended up not taking my folks or brother to the Portland State game. I thought that the 1 cent tickets were for anyone, but they were just for kids 17 and younger. I ended up going with Daniel, and enjoyed the Bears winning comfortably (42-16). It's been a very tense last few days with Israel fighting in Lebanon. We have family friends up north (including some in a town that was hit today with a Hezballah-fired katyusha, they're ok thankfully). I went with Al to the game 5 of the Sharks-Oilers playoff series last night (Sunday). We lucked out, and got seats through ticketmaster on Friday for roughly $40/ticket (including the assloads of surcharges). But it didn't matter, we were at the game.
