I'm feeling (very slightly) better about my level of readiness than I was this morning, if only because I'm that much closer to leaving work and being able to attack that list. I was day dreaming earlier today and thinking about my goals for the 3 Day this year, which really aren't very grand or anything, but I thought I would make a note of them ( Read more... )

• Make lasagna to freeze for Sunday
• Find flashlight
• Buy 3rd pair of shorts?
• Finish packing duffel bag: shorts & bra for Day 3, flashlight, glow stick, binder clips

After deciding the weather was not going to cooperate and I would just take the T out to JP, I also decided to head to DSW and try to find rain boots that would fit over my calves since I would have time to kill before I needed to hop on the T. What you don't know when you sign up for the 3 Day the first time around is how much money you are going to end up spending on gear, sunscreen, bandaids to cover your blisters, socks, etc... which I talked about a lot more last year than this year. The nice thing about repeating is that you have the gear you need and you end up buying only the gear ( Read more... )
