So I saw the movie today and I didn't cry as I expected to.  I think it was because I was more emotionally attached to the books which I just finished rereading.  Anyway, for my future reference and for any of you who are interested........

*FLAILS* I thought it was great but not the best film to be honest.

I cried a few times but also not as much as I thought I would ;)

Minerva McGonagall and Molly Weasley are FIERCE!! SO MUCH :D

I loved Snapes story it was great!

I agree that is was great but could have been better. I didn't feel the emotions I expected to feel with the deaths and other moments. And not because the actors weren't fabulous but because you didn't have time to. What I mainly took away from the movie is that Molly, Minerva, and Neville are awesome :)

That's true.It seemed a bit rushed sometimes. I don't know. Fred's death was just a glimpse and it made me even more sad ;)

Yes! It did bother me that McGonagall didn't start an evacuation of the younger students. How did I forget that major mistake on my list last night? Just a few simple sentences would have explained so much and they just didn't bother :(

And yes they could have had Luna, Dean, and even Cho show up together and say "We got Neville's message. Again, little things but they didn't bother.

I agree with you about the Gringotts scene, though I thought of it as more "let's show Voldemort's rage", it was unnecessary.

I enjoyed Narcissa's scenes and the dragon as well. But yes my highlights were cheering for Neville and McGonagall.

And no worries, I like discussing the little details and what should have been better.
