The peach trees now have little peaches starting to grow.  We lost hundreds of the trees over the past two years of drought.  So no fresh picked peaches for a while.  My mouth started watering when I walked past the tree and started thinking about some fresh wiped cream.  The birds better keep away... or we will have bird pie too! cowboymarine=

They will take some growing, and provided the vermin don't get to them, I will post about them for sure. :-)

Peaches.... warm cobbler.... I could go for that.

You lost 100s of peach trees... I think they're in Atlanta. Peachtree Street, Peachtree Road, Peachtree Corners, Peachtree Battle Avenue... and on and on and on.

Actually, I heard a rumor that it wasn't a peach tree that gave the road its name, but a pine tree (or "pitch" tree... from the sap or crude turpentine of a Georgia pine.) I am an encyclopaedia of useless information, eh?

Yeah... warm cobbler. Love that too. Better wait till the peaches are more than just little numbs on the tree before making plans.

You are more than welcome to my share of the peaches. The bird pie sounds interesting though. :)=

We normally were sending peaches all over and if the weather holds, I am sure there will be tons of peaches. Birds. Well, there are tons of those too. Mostly Turkey Vultures. They follow me around when I am outside. Do they know something I don't? :-)
