Having realised I was finally at the point where the present state of things could not go on, I found a free psychologist. I say free, because paying their normal rate is quite a barrier. People had kept pissing on one of the toilet seats a while ago, so I put up a sign which said to put the seat up before pissing.

All was going well for a couple of months.

A couple of days ago the sign was removed.

People are back to pissing on the toilet seat already.

So my job search hasn't thrown up any concrete leads yet but it's ongoing.

Arrive to work: There's a full-size bedbug walking across the office desk. Great.

Reported a bikeshare bike which had been here for a couple of days as missing. They said yes, it's missing.

Someone has pissed on the carpet in one of the shared rooms.

It's only 8am so far.

-The office computer broke and kept having a BSOD due to a faulty graphics driver. Finally resolved after 12 hours of fucking around and waiting for the computer to restore multiple times and hoping I'd deleted the right driver and waiting to see if it would BSOD again ( Read more... )
